Q. How do I find newspaper, journal articles, or peer-reviewed articles on a specific subject in the databases (e.g., health, criminal justice, or business)?
The library has 150 online databases. Each of these databases contains thousands of journal articles, newspapers, ebooks, and reports. You can access these databases through the MCC Library home page. Once you're on the Library website, click the A-Z Database List tab of our MCC Library Super Search (pictured below).
Once you're in the list of databases, you can filter these by subject. You select the subject(s) that you're interested in searching on the dropdown menu in the middle (image below). Then the website will display the databases related to the subjects you selected.
Students wishing to access the databases from off-campus must log in through the library's single sign-on (SSO). The SSO will prompt you to authenticate yourself through your myMCC credentials.
