A bibliography is a list of sources consulted while doing research for your paper, it is a generic term.  

More specifically, your professor will probably ask for either an MLA or an APA formatted list of sources.  A "Works Cited" page is the name for this list when using MLA format.  A list using APA format will be titled "References".  Your professor will tell you what format they want you to use.
