Certain textbooks are given to the library by instructors and are placed on reserve in the Bedford and Lowell campus libraries. Textbooks placed on reserve generally must be used in the library, or can only be checked out for a few days.  The shortened loan period is needed to ensure equal access for all students enrolled in the class. Copies generally are shelved only in the campus library where the class is scheduled.

Search the reserve catalog to find out if we have your text. If not found, a library staff member can help you determine if an older edition is available in the circulation collection (also referred to as "the stacks"). If not found in the library, you may want to ask your instructor if a copy can be added.
