Any resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts can get an eCard from the Boston Public Library (BPL). This card allows you access to the BPL's electronic resources which include business, education, literature & books, psychology & sociology, philosophy & religion, government & law, history & political science, science, theatre with dance and film, art & architecture, general reference, music, statistics, as well as biography & genealogy, hobbies, health, and sports.

Looking down the lists of resources above, you may find that you recognize many databases from MCC's A-Z list. The BPL has many of the same databases and many others that we don't have. The BPL's databases are available even when you have finished your studies at MCC so long as you renew your eCard.

Their Digitized Special Collections are well worth a look, too. These collections are part of the Digital Commonwealth program which is also worth spending time with.
