On the right side of the library home page, there is a box which directs you to three different groups of guides: General class guides, English class guides, and subject research guides.

Course guides are written by librarians to support individual courses. Many of you may have already had the experience of using one of these guides for an English 101 class. There are class guides for a variety of other individual courses.

Research guides are written to cover subjects more broadly. These wide ranging guides run from academic subjects to local history with many wide ranging subjects between. We invite you to browse these guides for your general interest and for getting research project ideas.

Both kinds of Libguides offer suggested books on the subjects, recommend databases and open sources for research, provide links to citing the sources you use, recommends websites and media, and suggests related guides that will support your research.

A list of all of our published guides can be found here.
