In the library, patrons may need to place a hold to read popular materials. Just like regular books, publishers only allow libraries to check out an eBook or eAudiobook to one patron at a time. If an item is checked out, patrons must wait until the checkout period expires. The check-in happens seamlessly and patrons don’t have to remember to return the items.
